About Us

Built by Bait Makers. Made for Bait Makers.

Welcome to Bad Bass Tackle Co, LLC — a company built around one simple idea: bait makers deserve access to quality supplies that help bring their ideas to life.

Founded by Wyatt Petersen, Bad Bass Tackle Co, LLC grew from a passion for fishing and lure making into a company dedicated to helping fellow anglers and bait makers create something of their own. What started with making custom baits for personal use eventually grew into a business serving anglers, hobbyists, and independent bait makers who want to take their creations to the next level.

Today, our Supplies Division focuses on providing bait-making supplies designed with creators in mind. From specialty glitters and additives to other materials used in soft plastic lure production, we're constantly looking for products that give bait makers more options when it comes to color, flash, texture, and overall presentation.

We understand that every bait maker has their own style. That's why we believe in offering supplies that allow you to experiment, customize, and create colors and combinations that aren't found sitting on a tackle-store shelf.

Whether you're making a few bags of baits for yourself, developing your next signature color, or building a growing bait brand, Bad Bass Tackle Co, LLC is here to help supply the materials behind your next creation.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: help bait makers create better baits.
